“The thousands of young American girls who authorities say have been kidnapped or lured from their normal lives and made into sex slaves. While many Americans have heard of human trafficking in other parts of the world -- Thailand, Cambodia, Latin America and Eastern Europe, for example -- few people know it happens here in the United States” (ABC.com, 2006).
"The FBI estimates that well over 100,000 children and young women are trafficked in America today. They range in age from 9 to 19, with the average age being 11" (ABC.com, 2006).
There were two different brief stories happen to two girls. Their name is Debbie and Miya. Debbie is only 15 years old. She was raped by several guys. However, what is really happen to her is that one of her friend showed up with two men in the car. Debbie came over and her friend shoved her in the car. One of men told her friend what to do such to tie Deb up and put tape on her mouth. They were aiming at them to make sure they were not making any moves. They were threatening them. However, when they were arrive at men’s apt and brought girls inside. They were messing with these girls and raped them. However, Deb had been stuck with these men and had sex with over 50 men. These men include married men with kids. She felt disgusted. (I agreed!) Also, she was earning hundreds of dollars a night. She was beaten, forced to have sex and will threat her family. She wants to escape but afraid to escape because she doesn’t want to die. In few days later, the officer went looking for her and went to his apt twice. Finally, they found her and she was tied up and crushed into a drawer under a bed. After they found her, she was relieved and wanted to be with her family again.
There is other story about Miya. She is only 19 years old. She worked at the mall. She was doing her job and there was fine guy stopped by. He told her that he was model agent. Also, he offered her to join in his company to photos shoot of her. She took his offer. She went with few guys and did photo shoots. She had to go California with them for special photos shoots. Guys posted the pictures on the website and it was an escort service site. She suffered her own cruel tribulation and was forced to work as a prostitute. One day, she decided to escape with her suitcase on her own and it was successful. She reported police on guys. She was glad to be with her family again and don’t want to be in their reach again.
It is not surprise me often because I know there are some violence and some cruel happen in this country and on half of other world. However, I knew there were some sex trades in US but I did not expect that would be happening often in this country. I’m glad these girls are safe at least. They were really brave to handle with cruel situations. I couldn’t imagine if there is something happen to me and I will really terrify for sure.

Africa's World of Forced Labor, in a 6-year-old's eyes
According to this article, the boy who was 6 years old forced to get up at around 5 am to go work. In the morning were chilling, the boy-Mark had to paddle a canoe a mile out of shore. And, he bailed water out of the canoe while co-worker picked up a fishing net after 5 hours. Mark was very hungry and haven't eaten since the day before. He was tired but the powerful built man, Kwadwo Takyi will beat Mark and co-workers up if they were not working or being lazy. However, the little boy, Mark weight 30 pounds and wore some old and poor clothes. he had hard time to understand why he has to work but there are other 3 older boys know why they have to work because it is the way it is in reality life. they only earn 20 dollar for a year. They have to work for other 3 or 4 years and forced to work for around 14 hours a day, seven days a week. For Mr. Takyi's boys, they stuck in a miniature labor camp, not going to school, basic necessities and rare of freedom are part of traffic in children.
" The International Labor Organization, a United Nations agency, estimates that 1.2 million are sold into servitude every eyar in an illicit trade that gerates as much as $10 billion annually" (Cozay, 2009). "Studies show they are most vulnerable in Asia, Latin America and Africa. Africa's children, the world's poorest, account for roughly 1/6 of the trade, according to the labor organization. Data is disgracefully limited, but it suggests vicimization of African children on a huge scale" (Cozay, 2009).
This brief article just broke my heart. Because I can't imagine to see any younger children are under 6 years old and forced to work with heavy chores. However, I believe that 6 years old can do chores to learn their responability but not kind of labor they did. I already mentioned that children are important to have their education on other blog. Also, I don't believe that 6 years old children need to get kind of tolerate to punish them and allow them to have a gratification childhood.
This thing got to be STOP! it is so cruel to force the little children to labor.

Funds for World Education for Girls' Education in Africa
There was a program, "the Clothes Off Our Back Foundation" were focusing on to raise the funds for children's charities and other efforts to give the supports. However, these organization were involved in World Education to profited and donation to young girls that are not able to get in secondary school in Africa. Also, "the Batonga Girl's Education Program, a partnership between World Education and Angelique Kidjo's Batonga Foundation, combines educational scholarships with mentoring from successful community women, and tutorial classes to encourage girls' academic achievement" (World Education, 2009).
this is amazing to have these kind of organization to get earn a lot of funds to support the education for children especially for girls in other country. Also, I believe it is important for children to have education in their life and have mentally process going on but it is very important to have intelligence theory to show that what ability they can do. In addition, I feel blessed for us to have education and everything as what we have as what they do not have. I also really appreciated for all people who support the organization and helped all children in the whole world to give the donation for their education and especially for girls.
